Awetonet.io Pte. Ltd. Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: 21 November 2025
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Awetonet.io (“Platform”), including all services such as Awetomations, network monitoring, firmware management, and remote management features (“Services”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you access the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
2. Definitions

| User | Any individual authorized by the Customer to access the Platform, including MSPs, SIs, vendors, or third-party operators. |
| Node | Any network device connected to or managed via the Platform. |
| Awetobot | The on-prem or cloud-hosted agent installed on Customer infrastructure. |
| Content | Any configuration, firmware file, documentation, logs, or other data uploaded or provided by Users. |
3. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities
- Customers are responsible for all User activity on the Platform.
- Customers must maintain the confidentiality of account credentials, enforce MFA, and promptly revoke access when Users leave or no longer require it.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring that Users comply with these Terms.
- Customers must maintain accurate account information and monitor compliance with laws and contracts for any managed networks.
4. Acceptable Use & Prohibited Activities
4.1 Permitted Use
You may use the Platform solely to:
- Manage, monitor, document, and automate multi-site networks and nodes.
- Upload, verify, and execute firmware upgrades or configuration changes.
- Execute diagnostics, troubleshooting, or commands authorized by the Customer.
- Collaborate via real-time session features to prevent conflicts and improve operational efficiency.
4.2 Prohibited Use
You must not
- Access any node, network, or system without explicit authorization from the owner.
- Use the Platform for fraudulent, malicious, or unlawful activities, including phishing, ransomware, scams, social engineering, or impersonation.
- Upload firmware or configurations that are malicious, tampered, or unsafe.
- Attempt to bypass platform safeguards, monitoring, or audit trails.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract Platform source code or data without written permission.
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Platform or third-party systems.
- Circumvent usage restrictions or licensing limits.
- Use the Platform in violation of applicable law or third-party agreements.
Note: Customers remain fully responsible for all actions taken by their Users, including third-party MSPs or SIs.
4.3 Network Discovery, Scanning & Enumeration
(a) Authorized Scope Only
Network discovery, asset scanning, topology mapping, or any form of automatic or manual enumeration may only be performed on:
- Networks owned by the Customer, or
- Networks where the Customer has explicit written authorization to perform such actions.
Discovery tools provided by Awetonet.io must not be used to scan or map any unauthorized networks, nodes, or infrastructure.
(b) Prohibited Activities
Users must not
- Perform network discovery, scanning, probing, or enumeration outside authorized scopes.
- Attempt to identify or map neighboring networks, VLANs, or devices that are not part of the Customer’s authorized environment.
- Use Awetonet.io to detect open ports, services, firmware versions, or vulnerabilities on unauthorized systems.
- Conduct reconnaissance or lateral movement via the Platform or the Awetobot agent.
- Attempt to cloak scanning activity or bypass discovery safeguards.
These actions constitute immediate grounds for suspension and may lead to legal reporting obligations.
(c) Responsibility for Third-Party Operators
When MSPs, SIs, vendors, or contractors perform discovery on behalf of the Customer:
- The Customer is fully responsible for ensuring such third parties operate strictly within authorized boundaries.
- Any unauthorized scanning or reconnaissance performed by these parties is treated as if performed by the Customer directly.
(d) Awetonet.io Rights
Awetonet.io reserves the right to:
- Throttle, block, or suspend discovery-related actions if misuse is detected.
- Use audit logs to investigate any discovery events.
- Notify the Customer — or in severe cases, relevant authorities — of unauthorized probing or reconnaissance.
(e) Disclaimer
Awetonet.io provides discovery capabilities solely as an operational, inventory, and asset management function.
Awetonet.io is not liable for:
- Unauthorized scanning performed by Users
- Damage or disruption resulting from misuse
- Discovery actions executed without the proper legal right
5. Firmware Uploads, Automation & Node Actions
5.1 Customer Responsibility
- Firmware and automation scripts must be properly tested and compatible with the target nodes.
- Customers must maintain backups and ensure operational readiness before executing upgrades.
- Customers are responsible for verifying that any managed networks are legally authorized for their use.
5.2 Awetonet.io Responsibility
- The Platform validates file format and integrity where possible.
- Awetonet.io does not guarantee successful execution, node stability, or outcomes of automated actions.
- Awetonet.io is not liable for downtime, data loss, or network failures resulting from Customer-supplied firmware or automation.
6. Third-Party Access (MSPs, SIs, Vendors)
- Customers may grant access to external operators but remain fully responsible for all actions performed.
- Awetonet.io is not a party to Customer agreements with third parties and assumes no liability for their actions.
- Customers must enforce contracts, NDAs, and access policies for third-party Users.
7. Real-Time Collaboration Features
- Actions performed via the Platform (commands, firmware updates, reboots) may be visible to other Users in real time.
- Customers acknowledge that this feature is intended to prevent conflicts and that Awetonet.io provides no guarantee that visibility prevents all errors.
8. Security, Logging & Audit
- All User activity is logged for auditing and compliance.
- Awetonet.io may review logs and monitor activity to detect prohibited use.
- Customers must enforce strong access controls and secure Awetobot deployments.
- Logs may be used for internal investigations, compliance verification, or legal obligations.
9. Suspension & Termination
Awetonet.io may suspend or terminate accounts or access if:
- These Terms are violated.
- Security or operational risks are detected.
- Misuse or prohibited actions are suspected.
- Required by law or regulatory authorities.
Suspension may be immediate for urgent security or compliance concerns.
Awetonet.io may notify the Customer post-suspension and retain logs for investigation or reporting.
10. Intellectual Property
- All Platform technology, source code, documentation, and branding remain the property of Awetonet.io.
- Customers retain ownership of Content they upload.
11. Data Handling & Privacy
Use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines collection, use, storage, and rights over personal and usage data.
Logs may be retained and used to investigate potential misuse or security incidents.
12. Warranties & Disclaimers
- The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.”
- Awetonet.io does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, successful firmware updates, or automation outcomes.
- Integration with third-party nodes or devices may vary, and Awetonet.io is not responsible for compatibility issues.
13. Indemnification
Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Awetonet.io, its affiliates, officers, and employees against all claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Customer or User Content.
- Actions by Customers, Users, or third-party operators.
- Violations of prohibited-use clauses, including network discovery misuse.
- Breaches of law or third-party agreements.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Awetonet.io is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- Total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid by the Customer in the preceding 12 months.
- Liability exclusions apply to firmware, automation, third-party actions, or network failures caused by Users.
15. Changes to Terms
Awetonet.io may update these Terms.
Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts.
